The Clock Never Stops Ticking...

My name is Derdine Noel  Brown and I am A Florida girl - born from Haitian parents who migrated to the US for a chance at life.

I started my career in finance and although I really enjoy numbers - I like people better. The last 8 years as a Mental Health Counselor in both inpatient and outpatient settings has taught  me this number one thing : mental health does not discriminate and no one is immune from it.  My opinion, rather strong, is that it’s important we take control where we can because despite what is happening around us- the clock doesn't stop ticking. Let's find a way to move forward- one step at a time.
